Basic policy on protection of personal information by Fuji Bakelite Co., Ltd.

Fuji Bakelite Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we") holds a great deal of personal information during the course of activities related to the relevant business. So it is incumbent on us to safeguard and secure personal information. In order to foster trust with the public including data subjects for the protection of personal information, we hereby define the privacy policy as follows:

We properly handle personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, other norms and all sorts of rules formulated by us, and keep everyone engaged in our business informed about our policy.

   2. In case that the procedures are practiced based on Article 23, paragraph 2 (i.e. right to opt out) or paragraph 3 (i.e. shared use) of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information; and
   3. In case that we provide or disclose the information in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations
3. In the case of using the personal information with independent contractors, we will check their safety control measures for its appropriateness. At the same time we execute confidentiality agreement with them and supervise the contractors accordingly.

2. Safety management measures of personal information

We deal with personal information in a strict manner and pay attention to safety measures in order to prevent and/or correct unauthorized access to, leakage of, loss or damage to personal information.

3. Remedial measures

We will strive to make a better response to changes in the social environment related to the handling of personal information.
We will also attempt to improve this policy and other stipulations by making changes, corrections or additions to as deemed necessary.

4. Responding to request for disclosure and/or corrections

We deal with personal information in a strict manner and pay attention to safety measures in order to prevent and/or correct unauthorized access to, leakage of, loss or damage to personal information.

5. Handling complaints

We endeavor to treat complaints concerning the handling of personal information in the proper and prompt manner.
